PHOTOBOOTHS IN MOVIES

STARSTRUCK
Photobooths have been featured in countless films, from the 1960s, when they were commonplace, through the '80s, when they were kitschy, to the '90s and into the present, when they've come back into fashion in a big way. Jean-Pierre Jeunet's 2001 film Amélie is certainly the film that features photobooths most prominently, and perhaps the only feature-length film to tie photobooths directly to its plot line. But photobooths have been featured in many other films, and we have catalogued only a small handful that really standout !

Lonesome - 1928

Hi, Beautiful - 1944

 De l'amour - 1964

Alice in the Cities - 1974

Superman III - 1983

The Karate Kid - 1984

Kurt and Courtney - 1998

 Amélie - 2001
